ORT Projects: 15678A - Involves the widening of I-95 approaches, Exit 2 ramps, and the Toll Plaza to accommodate the future ORT lanes. Advertising date is June 30, 2009 with a completion date in December 2009. The contract was awarded to Continental Paving Inc., Londonderry, NH on August 19, 2009 in the amount of $4,650,237.50 - COMPLETED
  15678B - Involves the removal of the center of the Toll Plaza lanes 6, 7, 8 northbound and southbound and construction of four ORT lanes approaching the plaza (two lanes northbound & two lanes southbound). Anticipated advertising date is September 1, 2009, with a completion date in June 2010. The contract was awarded to Pike Industries, Inc on October 7, 2009 in the amount of $7,433,766. ORT lanes open May 31, 2010. Project completion date of July 30, 2010.
  15678C - Involves the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the design and implementation of the ORT system. This work involves designing a computerized toll system, which enables the Bureau of Turnpikes to track vehicles through the Toll zone and charge the appropriate toll fare through their E-ZPass account and to track violators. This project involves several stages of testing for accuracy in order to approve live implementation. The RFP is advertising May 28, 2009 with an anticipated notice to proceed in August 2009 and a completion date of May 31, 2010. The contract was awarded to Telvent Caseta Inc., Austin, TX on August 19, 2009 in the amount of $1,987,205.
  15678D - Rehabilitation of the existing Toll Plaza and facility as result of the ORT project, which involves but not limited to replacing existing concrete within the lanes, new lighting and painting of the plaza. Advertising date was June 29, 2010 with a completion date of May 20, 2011.
