New Hampshire State Rail Plan

Welcome to the Web site for the New Hampshire State Rail Plan. This website contains information about the development of the rail plan, a process which started in February 2011 and will conclude by year-end. The Web site will provide updates on the plan's progress and inform the public on how to provide input to the plan.

The plan will include a comprehensive analysis of the state's rail system. The analysis will include an inventory of existing strengths and weaknesses, along with a review of factors that affect the rail system, and will conclude with recommendations for potential improvement projects. The analysis will build upon the existing New Hampshire State Rail Plan, created in 2001.

We encourage anyone with an interest in the future of rail in New Hampshire to participate in this process by following this Web site, attending meetings and/or providing comments as instructed through this Web site.
