Bike Maps | Monadnock Region
Photos MapTerrain
The Monadnock Region countryside is hilly. Generally, it is hillier east to west then north to south. Hills in the vicinity of the Connecticut River can be particularly long and steep.

Traffic

Traffic is fairly light except in the vicinity of Keene and on the major highways, particularly NH Routes 9 and 101.

Services

This is a mostly rural region, with Keene being the largest population center. Although not highly concentrated, services in this region are generally available throughout the area.

Highlights

Irresistibly New England, and unquestionably New Hampshire, the Monadnock Region is known as the Currier & Ives corner of New Hampshire.

Maps

The new revised NH Bicycle maps are now available on line. Maps are in Adobe Acrobat® PDF format. Each region has 2 Adobe files. The first is the map with suggested bicycle routes and the 2nd is the back of the map which has detailed information for that region. Select either side of the map by clicking on the picture to the left or choose from the list below:

These maps are still being refined. The final printed versions will be available in May 2008.
