NH Route 101 Ramp Closure in Hampton for Five Days
Detour for Closed US Route 1 Southbound On-Ramp

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a planned five day closure of the US Route 1 southbound on-ramp from NH Route 101 eastbound in Hampton, beginning Sunday, June 11 at 8:00 pm. The ramp closure will extend from June 11 to June 16, 2017.

Eastbound motorists on NH 101 seeking to go to US 1 southbound will be detoured onto NH Route 27 using Exit 13. Travelers will take Exit 13 to Liberty lane, then Liberty lane for a few hundred feet onto NH 27 eastbound to Route 1. Message boards and signs on NH 101 eastbound will alert motorists to the detour.

This ramp work is part of a project that includes paving, bridge rehabilitations, and guardrail upgrades along US Route 1 in Seabrook, Hampton Falls, and Hampton. Construction work on the closed southbound on-ramp will include removal and replacement of all pavement and guardrail.

Brox Industries, Inc. of Dracut, Massachusetts is the contractor for the $3 million project, which has a final completion date of October 20, 2017.
