|Bridge Repairs on NH Route 16 in Pinkham's Grant
Two Way Traffic to be Maintained Over New River
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge repairs are scheduled to begin the week of April 17, 2017 on the NH Route 16 bridge over New River in Pinkham's Grant. This bridge is located about one-half mile north of the Pinkham's Grant/Jackson town line.
As part of this project, the curb on the east side of NH 16 will be rebuilt and guardrail will be replaced. After this repair work is finished, the bridge deck will be stripped, patched, and paved.
To accomplish the bridge work, two-way traffic will be maintained in two 11-foot lanes, and the northbound climbing lane will be closed for the duration of the project. The work is expected to take two months to complete.
This work is being done in advance of a paving project on NH Route 16 that will take place in 2017.
