|Stewartstown Bridge to Close April 1 for Rehabilitation
Crossing the Connecticut River to Beecher Falls, VT
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the planned rehabilitation of the Stewartstown, NH – Beecher Falls, VT bridge will require the full closure of the bridge to traffic on April 1, 2017. The bridge closure is expected to remain in effect until November 2017.
The 231-foot long bridge crossing the Connecticut River was built in 1930 and rebuilt in 1971.
CPM Constructors, of Freeport, Maine is the contractor for the $4.6 Million project, which has a final completion date of October 2018.
