NH Route 10 Over the Ashuelot River
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces work is scheduled to begin in early December on the replacement of the NH Route 10 bridge over the Ashuelot River in Winchester-Swanzey.
This project begins in Winchester, approximately 1,025 feet southwest of the bridge over the Ashuelot River, and continues northeast approximately a half a mile and ends 1,600 feet north of the bridge in the Swanzey. It involves the replacement of the 78-year old existing bridge with a new three span, 225-foot bridge just west of the existing road alignment. There will be limited one-way alternating traffic during work hours.
Beck & Bellucci, Inc. of Franklin, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $3.98 million project, which has a final completion date of July 17, 2015.
