US Route 4 Bridge Over Bunker Creek
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled to discuss the replacement/rehabilitation of the bridge carrying US Route 4 over Bunker Creek, including roadway approach work from approximately 1,200 feet west of the bridge to 1,000 feet east of the bridge.
The public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, 2013. An informal discussion and viewing will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by a formal presentation at 7:00 pm at the Durham Town Hall in the Town Council Chambers at 15 Newmarket Road in Durham, New Hampshire.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
