13.5 Mile Pavement and Bridge Rehabilitation Project
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces planned traffic changes at Exit 41 in Littleton as part of an Interstate 93 bridge and pavement rehabilitation project.
Beginning Friday, September 6 at 7:00 am, the northbound on-ramp at Exit 41 will be closed for approximately eight weeks to allow for bridge rehabilitation work. Prior to this closure, the currently closed southbound on-ramp at Exit 41 will be reopened to traffic.
This project involves pavement and bridge rehabilitation along approximately 13.5 miles of Interstate 93 in Franconia-Littleton, from the northern end of Franconia Notch at Lafayette Bridge to just north of the Exit 42 interchange in Littleton. A total of 22 bridges are included in this project.
Pike Industries, Inc. of Belmont, New Hampshire is the prime contractor for the $7.7 million project, which has a final completion date of June 2014.
