|NH 9 Paving Project In Stoddard-Antrim-Hillsborough
14 Miles From Granite Lake Rd. To NH Route 31N
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces work is scheduled to begin Thursday, September 5, 2013 on a NH Route 9 pavement resurfacing project in the towns of Stoddard, Antrim, and Hillsborough.
This project begins on NH 9 near Granite Lake Road in Stoddard and extends east approximately 14 miles to NH Route 31N in Hillsborough. The primary purpose of the project is to extend the life of existing pavement through pavement resurfacing. Also included will be guardrail upgrades. Occasional lane closures may be needed in order to perform the work.
To allow for bridge rehabilitation work, alternating traffic controlled by temporary signals will be in place at the NH 9 bridge over the North Branch River near the Antrim Fire Station.
Continental Paving, Inc., of Londonderry, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $4.15 million project, which has a final completion date of July 18, 2014.
