Bridge Work Over NH 111 Near Exit 3 in Windham
Work Will Close One Lane if NH 111 for One Night

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces bridge construction work along NH Route 111 in Windham will take place during nighttime hours this week. This concrete placement work for the new I-93 southbound bridge over Route 111 will require closing one lane of Route 111for safety reasons.

Route 111 at the I-93 southbound overpass will be reduced to one lane during the night of Thursday, May 30, weather dependent. No other closures are expected. The lane closure will be in place between the hours of 7:00 pm. and 5:00 am, and motorists can expect only minor delays during this time period. Uniformed officers will assist with traffic control. Traffic on Interstate 93 will not be impacted.

This project is part of the construction of the new I-93 roadway in the vicinity of Exit 3. E.D. Swett of Concord, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $11.5 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2013.
