|Everett Turnpike Pavement Repairs At Hooksett Toll Plaza
Daytime North And South Single Lane Traffic During Mid-Day Hours
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces plans for necessary pavement repairs on the Everett Turnpike. The repairs to both northbound and southbound lanes adjacent to the Hooksett Toll Plaza will start Monday, April 15, 2013.
Weather permitting, the paving work will take place Monday April 15 through noon time Friday April 19. This work will be completed during the day, maintaining two lanes of traffic during commuting hours. Restricting traffic to one lane will only occur between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm daily. It's anticipated this work will take five days to complete, although additional days may be required.
Message boards will be used to notify motorists of the planned work. State Police will be used to assist traffic through the work zone. This work is part of toll plaza modifications to accommodate Open Road Tolling (ORT) at the Hooksett Tolls.
R.S. Audley of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $22.9 million ORT project, which has a final completion date of October 2013
