Tree Removal on Corbin Road in Newport Daytime Road Closure for Up to Four Days The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the planned removal of approximately 52 dead pine trees will begin on Monday, February 25, 2013, weather permitting. It's anticipated the work will require three to four days to complete. Corbin Road will be closed daily from approximately 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Traffic will be rerouted around the work area via Oak Street. Preparatory work may begin this week, utilizing alternating one-way traffic. The Department of Transportation's Highway Maintenance District 2, along with John Brown and Sons, Inc., of Weare, New Hampshire, will be performing the tree removal and cleanup work.
