Mill Street Bridge Over Rail Trail
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled in Haverhill to discuss the removal or replacement of the "Red List" bridge carrying Mill Street over the Ammonoosuc Rail Trail (New Hampshire Railroad).
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the Woodsville Emergency Services Building, 4910 Dartmouth College Highway in Haverhill, New Hampshire. Doors will open at 6:30 PM for viewing of project plans and discussing the project with NHDOT staff. At 7:00 PM, a formal presentation of the project will be given with a question and answer session to follow.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination. Historical properties may exist within the project area.
