| Keene Public Informational Meeting
Rehabilitation of 3 NH9/NH10 Bridges The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled to review and discuss bridge rehabilitation work on three NH Route 9/NH 10 bridges - over the Ashuelot River, over NH Route 12, and over West Street in the City of Keene. Proposed work includes replacement of the bridges' deck pavement and membrane, partial and full depth deck repairs, replacement of expansion joints and bearings, bridge rail and bridge approach rail, and painting. The public meeting (as part of the Municipal Services, Facilities and Infrastructure Committee Meeting) is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 6:00 pm at the Keene City Council Chambers B, 3 Washington Street in Keene New Hampshire. The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
