|I-89 On-Ramp From I-93 Southbound Closed On November 1
One Day Closure To Allow For Opening Of New Ramp
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned closure of the I-89 northbound on-ramp from I-93 southbound in Bow-Concord on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm.
Weather permitting, this ramp closure is to allow for the transition to the new I-89 on-ramp for southbound traffic on I-93 Motorists heading south on I-93 seeking to go on I-89 will be directed by electronic message signs to use Exit 12S to NH 3A.
Also closed during this work on November 1 will be the Exit 12 southbound on-ramp to I-93 from NH Route 3A. Route 3A traffic looking to go to I-93 southbound will be directed to I-89 northbound to Exit 1.
This work is part of the replacement of the Interstate 93 northbound and southbound bridges over Interstate 89 and minor repairs to the collector distributor road bridge. Audley Construction of Bow, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $14.7 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2015.
