| Concrete Box Culvert Replacement on NH 123A in Acworth
Road will be Closed to Through Traffic for Five Days The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces work is expected to begin Monday, October 22nd on the replacement of a concrete box culvert on NH Route 123A in Acworth. The culvert is located approximately 1.5 miles west of NH Route 10. In order to complete this project, NH Route 123A will be closed to through traffic between Cold River Road and NH Route 10 through Friday, October 26. Local traffic will have access within the closed sections of road. The west side of the project will be accessible via NH Route 123 (Alstead) to NH 123A. The east side of the project will be accessible via NH 10 to NH 123A. Electronic message boards will alert motorists to the road closure. This work is being performed by NHDOT District 4 Highway Maintenance personnel. The estimated cost of the project is $80,000. |
