New Southbound Section To Open On Spaulding Turnpike Completed Section North Of Exit 16 In Rochester The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a section of the newly completed Spaulding Turnpike southbound barrel north of Exit 16 will be opened to traffic on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Motorists should expect some delays through this area on that day. This work is part of the overall expansion and widening of the Spaulding Turnpike from Exit 12 to Exit 16 around Rochester. The general contractor for this segment of the project is R. S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire.
