Safety Improvements To Two Intersections
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Informational Meeting has been scheduled in Belmont, New Hampshire to gather public input concerning possible safety improvements at the intersection of NH Route 140 with South Road and Jamestown Road, and at the intersection of NH Route 106 at Seavey Road.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 23 2012 at 7:00 pm at the Corner Meeting House, 16 Sargent Street, in Belmont New Hampshire.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the corridor study and to solicit public input in order to ensure that any possible project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
