Night Work To Resume At Exit 5 In Londonderry NH
Minor I-93 Northbound Traffic Delays

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, work to remove portable concrete barrier and pave the detour tie-ins along Interstate 93 northbound will take place on the nights of Wednesday, July 18, 2012 through Thursday, July 26, 2012. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 9:00 pm to 3:00 am each night. It is anticipated that this work will take five nights to complete, July 18 through July 19 and July 24 through July 26, although additional nights may be required. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

This work will require traffic on Interstate 93 northbound to be reduced to one lane utilizing a high-speed lane closure. The newly removed barrier will accommodate paving work to construct the northern median crossover in preparation for the next phases of construction on the northbound lanes and bridges on I-93.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
