NH Route 12A Guardrail Replacement in Cornish Near the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces guardrail will be replaced on NH Route 12A in the immediate vicinity of the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge in Cornish, starting Thursday, July 19, 2012. Weather permitting, it's anticipated this guardrail work will require two days to complete. Delays can be expected at the covered bridge due to work immediately in front of it. No work to the bridge itself is anticipated. The NH Department of Transportation's Highway Maintenance District 2, along with CWS Fence Co., of Andover, New Hampshire, will be performing the work as part of a District-wide guardrail repair and replacement program totaling approximately $198,000.
