| Night Work To Resume At Exit 5 In Londonderry NH
Minor I-93 Northbound Traffic Delays The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of the four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry. Weather permitting, work to install portable concrete barrier along Interstate 93 Northbound will take place on the night of Monday, June 11, 2012. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 9:00 pm to 3:00 am each night. It is anticipated that this work will take one night to complete, however additional days may be required. Minor traffic delays can be expected. This work will require traffic on Interstate 93 northbound to be reduced to one lane utilizing a high-speed lane closure. The newly constructed barrier will accommodate work to construct the northern median crossover in preparation for the next phases of construction on the northbound lanes and bridges on I-93. This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co. , Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2014. |
