Night Work To Begin At Exit 5 In Londonderry
NH 28 Traffic Delays With Intermittent Road Closures

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work associated with the construction of four new Exit 5 Interstate 93 bridges in Londonderry.

Weather permitting, work to install portable concrete barrier along Interstate 93 northbound will take place on the nights of Sunday, May 13 through Thursday, May 17, 2012. This work will take place during non-commuter hours, from approximately 9:00 pm to 3:00 am each night.

This work will require traffic on Interstate 93 northbound to be reduced to one lane utilizing a high-speed lane closure. Minor traffic delays can be expected.

The newly constructed barrier will accommodate work to construct median crossovers and drainage in preparation for the next phases of construction on the northbound lanes and bridges I-93.

This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
