Night Work on I-293 Southbound Off-Ramp in Bedford
Sign and Guardrail Upgrades Will Require Ramp Closure

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces planned nighttime guardrail and sign repairs on the I-293 southbound off-ramp to NH Route 101 westbound and to US Route 3 in Bedford.

This work will take place, weather dependent, on Friday morning, May 11, from 12:01 am to 5:00 am. The I-293 southbound off-ramp will be closed during this time. A detour for motorists wishing to exit I-293 at this location will be to continue on I-293 southbound past the ramp and reverse direction at Brown Avenue.

Electronic message signs will be used to inform the traveling public of upcoming work zones. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to direct motorist around the work zone.

This joint work by the NHDOT's Highway Maintenance District 5 and the Traffic Bureau is part of routine maintenance to repair and replace signs and guardrail that are worn out or have been damaged.
