Traffic Shift On I-93 Exit 1 Northbound On-Ramp Interim Switch To New Ramp In Salem On April 18 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces plans to open the new northbound on-ramp at Exit 1 of I-93 in Salem on Wednesday, April 18. Motorists using the I-93, Exit 1 northbound on-ramp on April 18 can expect minor traffic delays. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. This work is weather dependent and will be postponed if poor weather conditions occur. This work is part of the $30.5 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 1. The general contractor is Middlesex Corporation of Littleton, Massachusetts.
