| Ramp Closure Planned At Exit 8 Of I-93 In Manchester
To Allow For Bridge Joint Work Near Stevens Pond The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces that ramp closures are planned at Exit 8 of Interstate 93 in Manchester to allow for bridge work near Stevens Pond. The Exit 8 southbound on-ramp will be closed for eight weeks for bridge expansion joint replacement work from Monday, April 2 to Friday, May 25, 2012. Message boards will alert motorists to the planned ramp closure. Detour signs will be in place to direct traffic to use the Exit 8 northbound on-ramp to Exit 9S (south) and then reverse direction. Pike Industries, Inc. of Belmont, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $6.2 million roadway and bridge rehabilitation project, which has a final completion date of September 28, 2012. |
