I-93 Lane Closures Between Exits 2 and 3 in Salem and Windham
Demolition of the Existing Brookdale Road Bridge Over I-93

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces nighttime lane closures on Interstate 93 near Exit 2 in Salem. Work is anticipated to start Sunday, March 4, and continue for one week.

Lane closures will be on the I-93 northbound and southbound lanes between Exit 2 and Exit 3. This work is to allow for the demolition of the existing overpass as part of the Brookdale Road Bridge replacement project over I-93. Nightly lane closures will be in place for northbound traffic between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. Lane closures for southbound traffic will be in place between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am.

Motorists using I-93 northbound and southbound near Exit 2 in Salem during these nighttime hours can expect minor traffic delays. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone.

This work is part of the $4.3 million I-93 Brookdale Road Bridge replacement project. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire.
