The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces work is getting underway on a bridge deck replacement project on NH Route 32 over Martin Brook in Swanzey.

This project is expected to take seven months to complete. Initial work will involve substructure widening work into the spring. The work scheduled from late spring into summer involves replacing the existing deck with a wider structure.

Short-term lane closures for the first several weeks will later be changed to one lane of alternating traffic. Motorists should proceed with caution when driving through the work zone.
