| Bridge Removal Over Route 111 At Exit 3 In Windham
Night Demolition Work Through February 8 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces bridge demolition work over NH Route 111 to remove portions of the old I-93 southbound bridge at Exit 3 in Windham will take place at night. Traffic on Route 111 near the Exit 3 southbound ramps will be reduced to one lane during the night on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week (2/1-2/3), and Monday and Tuesday (2/6 and 2/7) next week. Lane closure will take place between the hours of 7:00 pm and 5:00 am. Motorists can expect minor delays through this area during this time. Uniformed officers will help direct traffic through the work zone. This project is part of the construction of the new I-93 roadway in the vicinity of Exit 3. E.D. Swett of Concord, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $11.5 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2013. |
