The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Informational Meeting has been scheduled to review and discuss the planned rehabilitation of the NH Route 140 bridge over the Winnipesaukee River in Tilton.

This project will be discussed at the scheduled Tilton Board of Selectmen meeting on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 5:00 pm. The meeting's location is the Tilton Town Hall at 257 Main Street in Tilton, New Hampshire. Available plans will be displayed at 4:30 pm for interested persons.

The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. This project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
