Night Work On I-93 Between State Line And Exit 1 In Salem Installing Overhead Signs On The Cross Street And Exit 1 Northbound Bridges For Road Widening And Reconstruction Project The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces nighttime lane closures on Interstate 93 northbound between the Massachusetts state line and Exit 1 in Salem are taking place through Wednesday, November 16, 2011. The lane closures will be between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am each night. Motorists using I-93 northbound in the area of Exit 1 in Salem during these nighttime hours can expect minor traffic delays. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. This work is part of the $30.5 million I-93 Mainline Widening and Reconstruction project in vicinity of Exit 1. The general contractor is Middlesex Corporation, of Littleton, Massachusetts.
