|Public Hearings On Ten Year Transportation Plan Update
Meetings Scheduled For November 15 And 30 In Concord
The Governor's Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT), which is composed of the five Executive Councilors and the Commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT), announces Public Hearings will be held to review and make recommendations on the update of the State's Ten Year Transportation Improvement Plan (2013-2022).
The first public meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the NHDOT, John O. Morton Building, 7 Hazen Drive, Concord NH in Conference Room 114. The second meeting will take place on Wednesday November 30 at 2:00 pm at the NH State House, 107 North Main Street, in Concord on the 2nd Floor in the Executive Council Chambers.
The purpose of these Public Hearings is to review public comments and testimony on the projects, and materials included in the draft 2013-2022 Ten-Year Transportation Improvement Plan as recommended by the NHDOT to GACIT. Information from 27 Public Hearings held through September and October 2011 will be reviewed by GACIT to allow the Commission to adopt and forward recommendations to the Governor in December 2011.
