|New Southbound I-93 Off-Ramp Configuration At Exit 5 In Londonderry
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a new southbound off-ramp configuration will take place at Exit 5 in Londonderry on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Traffic will be switched from the current temporary off-ramp to the newly constructed highway segment.
This interstate work will require traffic on I-93 southbound to be delayed via rolling roadblocks to accommodate the traffic re-configuration. These rolling roadblocks will take place during non-commuter hours from approximately 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on October 11. Minor traffic delays can be expected.
This work is part of the construction of four new I-93 Exit 5 bridges, NH Route 28 reconstruction, and I-93 reconstruction in the Exit 5 area. Severino Trucking. Co., Inc. of Candia, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $37 million project, which is scheduled for completion in June 2014.
