| Night Paving Work to Begin on I-393 in Pembroke
Some lane closures and detours necessary The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night work is planned associated with pavement rehabilitation on Interstate 393, from the Horsecorner Road Bridges to 650 feet east of the Chichester/Pembroke town line in Pembroke. Milling and paving operations will take place on both the eastbound and westbound lanes during the week of October 3 through October 7, 2011, weather permitting. This work will require a closure of one lane on Interstate 393, eastbound and westbound, in order to complete the work. These lane closures will take place during non- commuter hours, 7:00 pm to 6:00 am. While work is taking place on the I-393 westbound on-ramp, traffic will be detoured along Route 9 to Route 106, back to I-393 at Exit 3. Electronic message signs and detour signs will be used to inform the traveling public. This work is part of a $600,000 pavement rehabilitation project that has work in Concord, Pembroke, and Milford. Brox Industries, Inc. of Methuen Mass. is the general contractor for the project, which is scheduled for completion October 7, 2011. |
