| Temporary Lane Closures On I-93 At Exit 3 In Windham
Southbound Night Work Beginning September 26, 2011 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a series of temporary lane closures associated with the construction of the new Exit 3 interchange in Windham. This work will take place at night, from Monday, September 26 through Monday, October 3, 2011. It will require the closure of the travel lane on I-93 southbound from the southbound weigh station to the Exit 3 off-ramp. The work will involve removing the temporary concrete barrier, milling portions of the paved surface and repaving those areas. Lane closure will take place between the hours of 7:00 pm and 5:00 am each night. This project is part of the construction of a new I-93 roadway in the vicinity of Exit 3. George Cairns of Windham, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $26 million project, which is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2011. |
