|Night Paving Work On NH 101 In Milford-Amherst
A Total Of Eight Nights Beginning Sunday, 9/11
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces night paving work is scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 11, 2011 on NH Route 101 in Milford and Amherst.
The first four nights of work will involve pavement milling at ramps off Route 101 at the intersection of 101A, Route 122, and Baboosic Lake Road. Paving will begin the night of Sunday, September 25 and extend for four nights. Work hours for both of these four night periods will be from 9:00 pm until 5:00 am. Motorists driving through these work zones during these nighttime periods should expect delays.
This pavement and bridge rehabilitation project involves 4.5 miles of NH Route 101, from one-half mile east of the bridge over NH Route 13 to just east of the NH Route 122/Baboosic Lake Road interchange.
Brox Industries, Inc. of Dracut, Massachusetts is the general contractor for the $6 million project. George Cairns and Sons, Inc. of Windham, New Hampshire is the contractor for the bridge rehabilitation work. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2012.
