The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) and the Governor's Advisory Commission on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT) announce a total of 27 public hearings have been scheduled statewide on the NHDOT's recommended update of the State's Ten-Year Transportation Program (2013-2022). GACIT is comprised of New Hampshire's five Executive Councilors and the NHDOT Commissioner.

These public hearings, running from September 12 to October 27, 2011, are an opportunity for citizens to comment on the draft plan, which is the result of several months of work by communities, regional planning agencies and the NHDOT. Those not able to attend the meetings can submit written testimony within 10 days of the completion of the Public Hearings, but no later than November 10, 2011.
