| Daytime Lane Closures on I-93 Exit 1 Ramp In Salem
Minor Delays on Northbound Off-Ramp for Two Days The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces lane closures on the Interstate 93, Exit 1 northbound off ramp in Salem are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. These lane closures between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm are to allow for pipe installation across the ramp. This work is weather dependent and is expected to take up to two days to complete. Motorists using I-93 northbound in the area of Exit 1 in Salem during these hours can expect minor traffic delays. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. This work is part of the $30.5 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 1. The general contractor is Middlesex Corporation of Littleton, Massachusetts. |
