| Night Closure Of I-93 Southbound On-Ramp At Exit 4
To Allow For Installation Of Utility Tower The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces the planned nighttime closure of a southbound on-ramp at Exit 4 of Interstate 93. This ramp closure will take place on Wednesday, August 24 and Thursday, August 25, from 8:00 pm until 5:00 am each night. Traffic on NH Route 102 seeking to head south during those hours will be detoured to the other southbound on-ramp on the Derry side of the bridge over I-93. This work involves the installation of a utility tower for a closed circuit television camera, which will be part of the Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) along the I-93 corridor between Salem and Manchester aimed at improving incident response and reducing traffic congestion. The ATMS project includes the installation of closed circuit cameras and electronic message signs along the 19-mile corridor that will be controlled by the Traffic Management Center (TMC) in Concord. |
