| Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge To Be Temporarily Closed
Traffic Control For Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Festivities In Vermont The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge over the Connecticut River between Cornish, New Hampshire and Windsor, Vermont will be temporarily closed to all traffic from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 6, 2011. This closure is for traffic control purposes in support of the 58th Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl football game and associated activities in Windsor, Vermont. A changeable message sign will be used to advise motorists of the closure. Traffic control will be provided by the Cornish and Windsor police departments. Motorists are advised to use NH Route 12 between Claremont, NH and Ascutney, VT, or Interstate 89 between Lebanon, NH and Hartford, VT during the closure period. |
