| Inspection Work On The Memorial Bridge In Portsmouth
Will Require Closure To Vehicle Traffic For Two Days The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a planned interim mechanical inspection of the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth, NH-Kittery, ME will require daytime closures of the bridge carrying U.S. 1 over the Piscataqua River. The Memorial Bridge will be closed to motor vehicle traffic on Tuesday, July 26, and Wednesday, July 27, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during these closure periods. The Memorial Bridge will remain open for pedestrian and bicycle traffic during this bridge inspection, but some delays should be anticipated. The bridge will also remain fully operational to perform requested lifts for river vessels. |
