| Night Paving On NH Route 4 In Rollinsford
Three Miles From Oak Street To Maine State Line The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces night paving work on approximately 3 miles of NH Route 4 in Rollinsford is scheduled to occur from Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15, 2011. Cold planning and paving hours will be between 7.00 pm and 6.00 am each day. This paving project extends approximately three miles, from Oak Street in Rollinsford to the state line in South Berwick, Maine. Traffic during will be one-way, stop and go. Motorists can expect delays during work hours and are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. The posted speed will be reduced temporarily through the work zone from 55 to 45 miles per hour. Message boards, and signs will alert traffic to the work zone. Uniformed officers and flaggers will direct traffic as needed through the work areas. Continental Paving Inc. of Londonderry, New Hampshire is the prime contractor on the $2.3 million road and bridge project. Final completion on the entire project is scheduled for October 2011. |
