| Milan Public Officials/Informational Meeting
Bridge Street Bridge Over Androscoggin River The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces a combined Public Officials/Informational Meeting will be held Monday, July 11, 2011 to discuss the planned rehabilitation of the Bridge Street Bridge over the Androscoggin River in Milan. This project consists of bridge deck pavement and membrane replacement, partial and full-depth deck repair, expansion joint work, and bridge shoe rehabilitation. Minor roadwork, including guardrail replacement and repairing damaged concrete pipe, is also part of the project plan. The project will be discussed at the July 11 meeting of the Milan Board of Selectmen at 7:00 pm, at the Milan Municipal Building located at 20 Bridge Street. Available plans will be displayed at 6:30 pm for interested persons. The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
