| I-93 Lane Closures Between Exits 2 And 3 In Salem And Windham
Partial Demolition Of The Existing Brookdale Road Bridge As Part Of The Brookdale Road Bridge Replacement Project Over I-93 The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces nighttime lane closures are planned on Interstate 93 near Exit 2 in Salem. Work is anticipated to start Wednesday, June 1, 2011 and continue for approximately two weeks. Lane closures will be on the I-93 northbound and southbound lanes between Exit 2 and Exit 3. This work is to allow for the partial demolition of the existing overpass as part of the Brookdale Road Bridge replacement project over I-93. Lane closures will be in place for northbound traffic between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. Lane closures for southbound traffic will be in place between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am. Motorists using I-93 northbound and southbound near Exit 2 in Salem during these nighttime hours can expect minor traffic delays. Uniformed officers and traffic control devices will be used to assist motorists through the work zone. This work is part of the $4.3 million I-93 Brookdale Road bridge replacement project. The general contractor is R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire. |
