Rehabilitation Of US 3 Bridge Over Connecticut Rover
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Informational Meeting has been scheduled in Pittsburg to discuss the rehabilitation of the US Route 3 bridge over the Connecticut River in the Town of Clarksville. This project includes bridge pavement and membrane replacement, deck repairs, and abutment and back wall reconstruction. During the rehabilitation work, alternating one-way traffic controlled by temporary signals will be used for traffic control.
The bridge project will be discussed at the Pittsburg Selectmen's meeting on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 5:00 pm at the Pittsburg Town Office, located at 1526 Main Street in Pittsburg, New Hampshire. Available plans will be displayed at 4:30 pm for interested persons.
The purposed of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials of Clarksville and Pittsburg with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, the NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
