This project begins 300 feet east of the Lee Traffic Circle and continues east approximately six miles. It consists of pavement and bridge rehabilitation on five bridges on US Route 4 and one bridge on Bagdad Road over US 4.
Night paving operations are scheduled to start Sunday, May 1 at 8:00 pm. All paving work will be done between the hours of 8:00 pm and 6:00 am.
Bridge work is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, May 8 and will be done during daytime hours. Travel lanes will be restricted to 12-feet wide at the bridge locations. Lane shifts will be used to allow for two lanes of traffic to be open to traffic at reduced speed limits. Uniformed officers and flaggers will be used to guide motorists through the work zones.
