| Height And Width Restrictions On NH 202A In Rochester
To Allow For Widening Spaulding Turnpike Bridge Over 202A The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announces NH Route 202A (Walnut Street), where the Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) crosses over 202A in Rochester, is scheduled to have a 10-foot 6 inch height restriction and a 12-foot width restriction in place on Monday, April 11, 2011 for up to three weeks. These restrictions are necessary in order to complete the widening of the bridge carrying the Spaulding Turnpike over Route 202A. Vehicles over the restricted limits will be detoured around the area via US 202 (Washington Street). This work is part of the widening and reconstruction of the Spaulding Turnpike at Exit 13 as well as the replacement of the bridges over NH Routes 202 and 202A. Alvin J. Coleman & Son, Inc of Conway, New Hampshire is the general contractor for the $22.8 million project, which has a final completion date of October 2011. |
