| Public Informational Meeting On NH 16 Rumble Strips
Possible Installation From Ossipee To Conway The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a combined Public Officials/Public Information has been scheduled to review and discuss the potential extension of rumble strips on NH Route 16 from Ossipee to Conway, including the Towns of Albany, Madison, and Tamworth. The intent of this meeting is to explain the NHDOT's policy regarding the installation of rumble strips along state routes, and to gather information from the municipalities and general public. This public meeting will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Albany Town Hall, 1972 NH Route 16, in Albany, New Hampshire. The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project, and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. This project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.
