Lane Closure For Bridge Inspection On NH 1B In New Castle – Rye Five Days Of Work Scheduled On Lift Bridge Over Little Harbor The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a planned detailed inspection of the NH Route 1B lift bridge over Little Harbor in New Castle – Rye is scheduled to occur from Monday, January 10, through Friday, January 14, 2011. This inspection work will take place daily between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm and will require single lane traffic controlled by flaggers. Motorists should expect delays due to the lane restriction and periodic lifts, and seek alternate routes if possible. In the event of inclement weather, this work will be postponed until the following workday. Hoyle, Tanner and Associates Inc., of Manchester, New Hampshire is performing the inspection work.
