| Temporary Nighttime Closures Planned For NH 12A In Lebanon
To Allow For Structural Steel Setting For New I-89 Bridge The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces temporary nighttime closures of NH Route 12A in Lebanon are planned at the I-89 Exit 20 interchange in Lebanon. These 15-minute closures will occur at various times between the hours of 11:00 pm and 5:00 am during the nights of Monday, January 10, and Tuesday, January 11, 2011 to allow for the erection of structural steel for the new southbound I-89 bridge over NH 12A. During the shutdown periods, motorists on NH 12A will be directed to use I-89 to the next exits, and then return to Exit 20 to get around the work zone. Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through the NH 12A work zone at all times. A lane closure on I-89 southbound will also be in place after 9:00 pm each night. This scheduled nighttime work is subject to change to due weather. R.S. Audley, Inc. of Bow, New Hampshire is the contractor for the $20.3 million project, which has a final completion date of October 2012. |
